This button requires a reasonably modern browser in order to operate (IE8 and 9 are not supported). For older browsers, the `b-button pdfFlash` button provides similar file creation and save options using the Flash plug-in. The `b-button pdf` button can be used to automatically select between this and the `b-button pdfFlash` buttons based on the browser's capabilities. In addition to this, the [PDFMake](http://pdfmake.org/) library must also be available on the page and a suitable font-size. [PDFMake provides Roboto in `vfs_fonts.js`](http://pdfmake.org/#/gettingstarted) or a [custom font](https://github.com/bpampuch/pdfmake/wiki/Custom-Fonts---client-side) can be used. This MIT licensed library provides the ability to create a PDF file in the browser and it utilised by this button. The use of PDFMake with this button provides the ability to easily modify the PDF file that is generated to include text, images and other information. This is done through the `customize` function (see below, and the [PDFMake documentation](http://pdfmake.org/#/gettingstarted)). ## Browser support The API methods used by this button are supported in the following browsers. If the browser being used does not support the requirements for this button, it simply will not be displayed. * Internet Explorer 10+ * IE9 and older are not supported as they do not support the `FileReader` API available in newer browsers. * Edge: Yes * Chrome: Yes * Opera: Yes * Safari: Yes </description> <option type="string" name="text" default="PDF"> The button's display text.
